Hi,

Is Confluence a suitable platform for publishing technical documentation for customers?

Thanks,

John

Hi, John.

Yes, it's a good platform for you to publish and share documentation.

Hi @[deleted] ,

I'm Shannon from K15t, the authors of the blog that Suren shared above. A bit late on this, but as you can tell from the blog post, we think Confluence is a great platform for publishing your technical documentation, and we offer a number of apps that help you do it right:

Scroll Viewport helps you present your content as a help center. We recently wrote about how we use it to deliver our own K15t Help Center to our users and how you can use the Help Center theme to do the same.

Scroll Documents helps you manage versions of your multi-page documents or documentation, and deliver them to your customers as you release. Here’s a blog post that outlines this solution and it's available for both Cloud and Server.

We offer a number of other apps for both technical documentation and document management in Confluence which help you version, translate, export and more.

Finally, if you're just looking for tips and advice on how to author documentation in Confluence, you might want to check out our Rock the Docs site. It contains a ton of information on how your team can manage documentation in Confluence (not app-specific at all).

If you have any questions, we're happy to help or show you a demo. Just get in touch with us: hello@k15t.com.

Cheers,

Shannon (K15t)
