Hi
I am looking for a way that if I change the template, all pages created with it are also changed. To give an example, I always have certain hyperlinks in one corner of all pages. If one of them changes, then it would be good if this changes on all pages that have been created with the template.
You could use the Excerpt / Excerpt Include Macros in a template to include some predefined content. This would only allow to change the content in the reference page, but as Nic and Sebastian pointed out, won't allow to reference another page or change the location of the content on the pages created with that template. So this solution may not be as flexible as you might want it to be.
You may also want to check if the intended result could be made part of the page layout or add some content by means of adding JavaScript to certain pages. The latter would probably require programming skills (and admin consent) and/or a third-party / own Confluence app to allow such modifications.

A template is a predefined pattern used to create a new thing, which can then be amended as needed.
A template has no effect on anything it created after they were created. If they did, could you imagine the fun if someone changed the template for a car windscreen? Every car with a screen made with that template would have its windscreen blown out.
Even if you could do it, can you imagine the code needed to go inspect, try to update, and change every page that was created from a template? It would be immense, and unlikely that even a clever AI could get it right for every page.
The point is you can't expect a template to do that, it's not what templates are for.

Hi @Tho Thi
If you will change template all new pages created from this template will have new update.
All pages created from template will be not updated when you will update template. You need to update them manually.

Seba
