I uploaded a small test MP4 file to the page. I attempt to use the Multimedia macro so I can display the video using HTML5, however, the file is not available for selection from the File menu, nor are any of the other media files (images).
@Nick Hasselblad To add to the response from @Tomislav Tobijas, I have experienced an issue with these types of macro settings (in Cloud) where you need to start typing the name of the file and then it will appear in the list. Not sure why this happens, but you might want to give it a try.
Thanks for replying, Barbara but the field does not respond to typing.

Hi @Nick Hasselblad ,
I'm guessing this is in the DC version of Confluence (as cloud does not support it; at least not in the new editor).
Additional questions, though - has this worked before, and is it not working just at the moment? Are other users experiencing the same thing? Have you tried using a different browser or incognito mode?
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi Tobijas, I tried Chrome but same problem. (I'm not going to try Incognito as I don't want to give IT the wrong impression.)

Hmm @Nick Hasselblad 🤔
Are other users experiencing the same issue? I don't have a Data Center environment at the moment to test this out, so I can't say much.
If everyone is experiencing this, it might be an application issue where you'd (or your Confluence product admin) probably need to reach out to Atlassian Support.
As on-prem environments are something the support team cannot access, you'll most likely need to generate HAR file and send it to them for further analysis.
*one more thing; if I remember correctly, I had a similar situation on the cloud. The thing was that I first had to publish the page (as it was a draft), and only then could I select the file inside one macro 👀
