The Roadmap Planner macro in Confluence no longer allows me to edit

The roadmap planner macro in confluence no longer allows me to edit. I can add one but once I save and then try to edit, I cannot delete bars, rename them, etc. It was working last week (Dec 7th was the last time we edited it).  But now on Dec 10, 2018, I can't edit anymore. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried on Chrome and safari and no luck.  I'm on the cloud version of jira/confluence.

Hi Ann,

I experienced the same issue as well, unfortunately. Very frustrating to say the least. The only workaround which seems to work thus far for me is to:

  1. Click edit macro on the roadmap editor
  2. As the edit window is open, refresh the page
  3. After the page has reloaded, click edit macro on the roadmap editor again
  4. Start editing

Hopefully, it will work for you too but this is something that definitely needs Atlassian attention as it should not happen.

Good luck!

Just found that the roadmap editor is influenced from plugins, which also use Backbone for a frontend. There may be different versions of Backbone loaded, depending on the context.

I am experiencing the same issue. Further, after I edit a bar, the text is not updated when I publish or the bar shows up as blank. I'll go with the Excel option Ann Tebo suggested above. Much safer.

Refresh on edit window seems to be a valid workaround.  Ticket appears to be tracking this bug:  CONFCLOUD-65229

Thanks.  I've instead decided to do it in excel and add it as a file to the page.  Much easier and not buggy.

I'm also experiencing this issue in our Confluence Cloud environment in Chrome.   I'm unable to edit the names or lanes or bars.
