The create a new template page is limiting me to a small ~150px square for editing

When I go to Space Settings > Content tools > and then click Create New Template, the page is looking very wonky in Confluence cloud.

The sections, labels, and title appear halfway down the page. As soon as the page opens, it goes into a small spot that is about 150px by 75px small which then when I insert in my content develops scrollbars. I even tried previewing it, but it is still in the tiny scroll box.

If someone could please help me understand why this is happening / how to fix this, I would be super appreciative!

You might be seeing the effects of a known issue with the template page, here is the bug report if you want to add yourself as an affected customer: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67346
