Hi everyone,
When I go into Confluence and click on the bell icon (notifications), the popup is full of article suggestions. I'm not really interested in these, is there a way to set/edit what appears here? I can only see edit functionality for emails, not for in-app notifications.
Thanks in advance
Hi @sabeena_webb ,
Unfortunately, no—there's no way to separately disable these on a personal level. I believe all notifications (inside app/bell icon and emails are 'connected'). As you've found out, you can navigate to Profile icon > Personal settings > Email and configure things such as recommended updates or daily digest from that page.
I'd recommend playing with those to see if disabling some notifications there will also disable those direct notifications within the bell icon; but, as you can imagine, these will also disable email notifications too.
There are a couple of open suggestions related to what you're looking for, so you might want to check those out. 👀 Potentially, there are some workarounds/tips listed on these tickets or in the comments sections.
Cheers,
Tobi
Hi @Tomislav Tobijas, (Tobi)
Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this and offering the above advice, I'll have a play around and hopefully find a way to get the notifications I'm interested in!
Thanks again,
Sabeena
