I just started using dynamic layers and like how I can allow users to select (based on clicks on the image) - I would like to reuse this gliffy diagram, and link on multiple confluence pages, but with a different set of selected layers.
For example, one diagram with the following layers:
- Network
- Data flow
and have a 'network' page that when it loads, by default shows my Network layer, and also have a separate page with the same diagram, but with default layers for Data Flow
Hi Gregory!
I love the dynamic layers feature too, and I think this is an awesome idea! Unfortunately, I don't think it can be done right now, so I'm passing your feedback along to our product team.
I think meantime, I think you could accomplish this by using your existing diagram as a template for new diagrams on each page. You'd go to "create a new diagram from a template" and then select your recent diagram to get started. From there, you can reorganize the layers as you'd need so that the default view is what best matches your page experience.
This "create a diagram from a template" is different than embedding a copy of your diagram, so it won't automatically update all the versions of your base diagram on accident. :)
