Also need assistance how to manage permission with confluence.
Confluence Permissions and Restrictions are quite confusing at first. Check out Ultimate Permission Manager app, it will explain you why that user cannot see that page in Confluence:
Yes Gergely. With the help of support team identified the issue. We had the restriction on the page and it prevent me accessing the page even though i got the admin privilege . Removing the restriction on the page resolved the issue.

Go to space permissions and you see another tab called Restricted pages, click that find that main page and add the user over there, this will prove the access to the user.

Could you get someone who can see the page to take a full look at the restrictions on it?

I have no idea what you mean there.
Please, look at the restrictions on the page. Tell us what they say. Then look at the user who is trying to see the page - do they match the rules at all?

What we are trying to do here is following instructions and giving access to a space / page to a user, despite the user being shown as permission granted, the user is unable to see the page. I don't see your response any helpful.

What I am trying to do here is help you find out what is wrong.
There is no way I can do that without more information. We cannot be "helpful" until you provide the basic information.
Imagine you are a car mechanic. I ring you up and say "my car won't take me somewhere". And then refuse to tell you if I have lost the key, forgotten to put fuel in it, it won't start, or it's surrounded by a horde of angry penguins. You can't start to help me until I give the information you are asking for.
So, for the third or fourth time, what are the restrictions on the page?

our issue is very clear - we have given a view permission to an individual user and despite this the user is unable to view. Its my fault expecting a solution from someone who would compare this to a car repair scenario - what I told you is that the key i have doesn’t work!!! Good luck and I will raise a ticket. Thanks.

The issue is clear, you think you've given view permission and it does not seem to be working.
What is not clear is why you are refusing to give us any information that would allow us to help you.
I'm not "comparing", I'm trying to give you an analogy, as you don't seem to understand what I are asking for.
Let me try another even more simple case:
I ring you up and say "Confluence does not work, how do I fix it?". Given that question, and nothing more, tell me how to fix it.
Now do you understand why I am asking?
