Hi!
I'm trying to switch back to the old style page. I need to move table rows and, because the new style feature set is from the stone age (or something), it doesn't support that feature. I see the work is in progress but.. come on. I can't move a row? You realize project managers use this mostly right?
Anyway, how do I get the old feature-complete version? I tried to create a blank page in the "old style" like others have done, but I don't see that option.
Thanks!
Hello @Joshua Sanders !
As I understand, some features of the new tables do not fit if the workflow adopted within your organization.
I am not sure what you mean by:
“I need to move table rows”
Could you explain:
- How were you able to move rows?
- If there is a shortcut for it?
Further, according to this blog post you should be able to request the activation of the Legacy Editor:
I would weight whether or not the Legacy Editor should be kept around within your production site. Mostly because of these reasons:
- There are no improvement efforts for the Legacy Editor (it is to be used “as is”)
- New flows may be introduced and the legacy editor will not be part of it. An example of it is the new creation flow.
- No minor bugs are going to be fixed.
While there is no foreseeable future where we completely remove the Legacy Editor, it will be increasingly out of pace with new features and flows implemented within Confluence itself.
For more insights on what is and what is not available in Confluence. you can check our roadmap:
Let us hear from you!
Are you saying you don't have the feature when you use the "legacy template" as mentioned here?
