Upgrade confluence from 4.3.5 to 5.1.2 failed, because of https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-13798.

We met the exact issue trying to prevented by above ticket.

After we upgrade to 5.1.2, confluence failed to start up and shows the version of home directory does not match the database version.

The home directory version is: 3396, and the database version is: 4216.

Not sure what we could next to continue the upgrade...

The problem was solved by:

Removed the problematic lines from the dabase indicates I am not 4.3.5, and tried to upgrade again to 5.1.2, and it magcially works.

It seems that your database is on version 5.1.1 but the dbconfig file is still using 4.3.5, that might be the problem, can you please double check whether you've download the correct installation kit for Confluence 5.1.2?
