Upgrade to 4.2.6 fails

The upgrade is failing because the ojdbc6.jar file isn't getting put into the new confluence home lib directory. So the database connection is failing for the schema update portion of the upgrade.

Please let me know how I'm supposed to get past this problem.

Dear Rick,

Two things came in my mind:

• Have you checked the file permissions on your ojdbc6.jar file? It might fail to copy since the user executing the upgrade does not have permission to read it.
• Have you tried copying the file to the target directory yourself?

Otherwise, I advise you to look at the logfiles generated during the upgrade if any error message indicates the cause of the problem.
