Upgraded Test to 7.19.18 and Search is not finding new data

Hi

I have just upgraded our test instance to 7.19.18 and as one of our simple tests of the functionality we use the search function on newly created content.

But it isn't coming up. I have created a new page with a unique word (platypus) and searched for it but it isn't showing.

I tested this on our live instance running 7.19.17 and it worked fine the new page showed up in the search results.

Is there a known issue with this patch, or am I doing something wrong?

Is there some setting I should check for my searching (some kind of re-indexing process maybe)

Any help or advice is appreciated

Here something you could start with is indeed a re-indexing. You could start with the steps here: Rebuild the Search Index, and sometimes a more strict approach is needed or can help by Rebuild the Content Indexes From Scratch, which includes a server restart.
