Hey all,

Please, I am trying to upload a video on a Confluence page, but it is not working. Does Confluence allow to upload of videos?

I can suggest our third-party app Smart Attachments for Confluence. 

With it, you can: 

• create file storage for your Confluence spaces
• create the multi-level structure of folders
• preserve document revisions for change traceability
• import folders with files into Confluence with their structure recreation
• tag documents with labels for better searchability
• preview the stored files
• embed documents or folders into the context of Confluence pages
• discuss changes and updates with teammates
• and many more.

So you can upload a video to the central space storage and then reuse it across different Confluence pages by embedding the video from the storage. You can find much more information in our documentation. 

At the moment, it's available for Server and Data Center.

Hi Andre,

you can upload videos in Confluence.

Try drag n' drop or open the attachments by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the page.

Please keep in mind, that Confluence is not ideal for storing videos.

You could end up in problems with the file size.

If that's the case you could increase the file size limit in the admin settings of Confluence.

Another possible way would be to upload the video on to a file storage like Sharepoint, Google Drive or even Youtube with private settings.

You could then link the URL to your Confluence page.
