Hello Support
a user of Confluence does not want to receive e-mail notifications from the system, therefore he has deactivated everything under "Confluence User Profile / Settings / Mail Settings". Unfortunately, he still gets notifications and has asked us to check this and since I can reset this, the feature doesn't really work. What can we set so that we can fulfill his wish.
Although the user has deactivated everything under "Confluence User Profile / Settings / Mail Settings", he will still get notifications of changes to pages that het already is following.
He can stop following these pages under his profile too. And I believe there is also this option in the notification email itself.
Hi @[deleted] ,
Welcome to Atlassian community.
By default, Confluence will assign you as a watcher of any page or blog post that you create or edit. This behavior is called 'autowatch'. You can turn autowatch on or off, and set other notification options, in the email settings section of your user profile. See Edit your user settings. Try disabling this and check once.
Also, go through the below web page for more info
I hope the above information helps. Have a nice day.
Thanks,
Srinath T
