User unable to edit page that has access to edit page??

I am a novice Confluence user (non-admin) and have edit access to many pages, but when I click the edit button it spins displaying "Connecting" at the bottom.  The page just spins and never connects.  If I click "Save" it will save a blank page over the current page, which I am then able to edit normally.  Is there resolution with this?

If happen on all the pages of one space but not on other spaces, try to reset your layouts going to space Settings > Look and Feel > Layout, and reset to default the Layouts.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Is it happening from all the browsers? Are you unable to edit any of the confluence pages and all the pages spin when you click on Edit ?
