Users not linked to LDAP groups

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem as this guy : http://forums.atlassian.com/message.jspa?messageID=257308903

I had triple checked my conf, tried all parameters combinations, but it does not work. I'm using Confluence 3.2.1. Does anybody have any clue on this issue, I'm running out of ideas...

Hi Kevin,

I couldn't locate the link you have pasted here. Usually the users and groups links are done by the:

<membershipAttribute>member</membershipAttribute>

inside the atlassian-user.xml file. if this is incorrect, AFAIK, the membership won't work.

I recommend getting a LDIF from the user and verifying the membership attribute of one example and see if the setting is correct comparing to the atlassian user file.
