I'm a site admin and have explicit admin permissions on a certain space.
New users who are granted permissions to the space are not able to access it.
They see the space in View All Spaces, but get the "restricted content" message when try to go into it
The space has several other users who have been given permissions and are able to access all pages as expected.
The new users have been given the same permissions as the users who can successfully access.
I tried adding the confluence-users permissions, which would give everyone access to the space, but the users who tried accessing still could not get to it.
Pages on the space are not restricted. The only restrictions are at the space level.
Am just guessing like it could be at the Home page level restrictions and are applying to all the pages.
It's like if you have parent page applied to restrictions the child pages gets inherited to those restrictions.
That was the problem. I didn't look at the permissions on the home page because there's no red lock icon showing they had been set on that page.
Thank you, Uday Kiran Bhaviri! Mystery solved. :)
