Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use whole pages across several spaces. We have a software product that has 3 different versions and I'm creating a separate documentation space for each one. Some content topics are common to all 3 versions, so is it possible to write these topics "single source" documents and then include them in other spaces? Thanks for any tips or techniques on this issue.
Hi William,
you can write the common pages in a different space and use the include page macro to show the content in the other spaces. Look here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Include+Page+Macro

I use {include page} this way frequently. I find it helps to have a good, consistent naming convention for the pages that you want to include. For example, say I'm writing installation instructions with variations for Windows and Linux, I would give the include pages names like like install-win-inc and install-lin-inc ... The -inc tells me that this page will never stand alone, but will always be embedded somewhere.

Many thanks for the tip Kathleen. I guess it's about putting enough into the planning so that the document is easily maintainable.
