Validation rule to ensure no more than 3 options are being selected

Hi all,

I've seen this and this thread, but for some reason it's not working for me. I can't for the life of me figure it out.

I have a ConfiForms Field Definition named "categories" with the field type as checkbox group. I want the user to select up to only 3 categories. In the Field Definition, I have used categories.asCount:>3 in the Validation rules field in the bottom. The submission only works when 0 options are selected. If I select even 1 checkbox, the validation triggers. Similarly, I did the Confiforms Rules for Field Definition, and get the same thing. What can I be doing wrong?

@Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ thank you very much. I had the statement in the wrong place - it was in "validation rule" instead of "condition"

Very common mistake, and we are very sorry about that. Probably should make it a lot clearer how to configure a validation rule.
