Also in Feb 2024 the support for scaffolding migration to cloud is very poor. We feel really pissed of by the producers of scaffolding. Even their support links ends up no where.
A reason more to switch to an other profider than atlassian.
We are sorry for your experience and we understand that it must have been frustrating. Rest assured we are here to help and assist you with your migration plan to Cloud.
Please feel free to email us at support@appfire.com or create a support ticket directly in Appfire's support portal, and our team will be assisting to unblock your challenges.
Additionally, would you mind providing more details on the support link you have mentioned so we can look closely at it and ensure it doesn't happen again?
Thank you.
Best,
Iman
I understand your frustrations. However if a vendor is not providing you proper support I am not sure that moving away from the Atlassian overall is the best solution. It sounds like an issue with the product team of scaffolding instead, of which Atlassian can't be responsible. Similar to how Google or Apple aren't responsible for apps on their app store. But if you had trouble with the latter would you switch phones or just find a new app?
While Atlassian does offer a third party Marketplace, the Marketplace is essentially just an app store for a business rather than a device. I would highly recommend looking at a different product for Confluence that does something similar if you are unhappy with a specific vendor and app maker that provides better overall support.
I do see this app is made by Appfire who generally has good support. So if you have only tried to go through the Scaffolding pages directly I may recommend emailing support@appfire.com instead.
Doing some quick research an alternative app could be: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218917/blueprint-creator-advanced-templates-pages-blog-spaces?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview
Another alternative based on what Scaffolding does would be to look at Jira Work Management: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/work-management
