What happens to Confluence pages/spaces when the author has been deleted in Active Directory

I'm using Active Directory to authenticate with Confluence and there are many pages and spaces that have been created by AD users, I would like to know if deleting a user in Active Directory will have any impact upon these pages and spaces.

Hello Martin,

If a user is deleted from AD, pages that he created will appear as created by Unknown user. There is a feature request that you can vote for and watch to be updated: LDAP users that has created content in Confluence should be kept in Confluence cache after being deleted in LDAP side.
