What happens with diagramly diagrams after upgrading to confluence 5.5?

What happens with diagramly diagrams after upgrading to confluence 5.5?

I want to upgrade to confluence 5.5. However I dont't know yet if we will purchase the new draw.io for confluence. What happens with the old diagramly things then? Will they be lost or are they just not changeable anymore?

The data is retained in any case. If you upgrade to draw.io from Diagramly there is full backwards compatibility, nothing is lost, everything can still be editted.

It should be noted that diagrams are not actually treated as add-on data. The are attachments of the page. Upgrading/removing the plugin does not touch the attachments in any way.
