What is the benefit of Visible Versions in Atlassian University?

We've just signed up to Atlassian University. As part of the configuration, I noticed the 'Visible Versions' option to disable/enable various versions of the software.

Since we're running the latest version of JIRA & Confluence, is there any benefit to leaving the older versions enabled - or should they all be disabled?

I can't tell if there is any benefit to leaving them enabled for my staff members or not.

Hi Stephen,

If you are on OnDemand, there is no benefit to leaving old lessons enabled. We do have many customers that are using old versions, and those users want to train on their version.
