Hi, I’m Carolina Duarte. I’ve been working with Confluence Cloud for some time, and while I’ve tried both the built-in tables and the Atlassian Databases feature, I often find them too limited for my team’s needs. We’re looking for something more powerful, flexible, and user-friendly.

Ideally, I’d like an app that:

  • Goes beyond basic table formatting and supports more advanced data management.
  • Makes it easy to filter, sort, and visualize information directly in Confluence pages.
  • Scales well for team collaboration without becoming too complex or difficult to maintain.
  • Runs on Atlassian, so we know it’s reliable and integrates smoothly with the rest of the ecosystem.

I’d love to hear recommendations from others who faced similar challenges and found a solid table solution for Confluence Cloud.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Carolina Duarte

Welcome to the community.

If you are looking for a table similar to Excel, which everyone should be familiar with, I would recommend trying out the Excel-like Tables for Confluence.

Excel-like Tables for Confluence Cloud can:

  • Share real-time reports across pages
  • Build dashboards with dynamic table views
  • Sync issue with Jira issue sheets

It is an app developed and maintained by my team at Ricksoft. Feel free to try out the app and let us know your experience.

Thank you.

Hi @Carolina Duarte, welcome to the community!

I’ve also found the built-in tables in Confluence Cloud a bit limited when projects require more advanced functionality. In those cases, an alternative worth considering is Simple Table for Confluence, which offers more flexibility and control.

A few reasons why it might be a good fit for you:

  • It goes beyond basic formatting with more advanced data structuring options.
  • Grouping, Filtering, sorting, and quick visualization are much easier compared to the default tables.
  • It’s lightweight enough for everyday use but still scales nicely when you need more complex collaboration.
  • Since it runs smoothly within Atlassian’s ecosystem, integration and reliability haven’t been an issue for us.

It might be worth giving it a try to see if it matches your workflow better.

Good luck, and I hope you find the perfect setup for your team!

Hi @Carolina Duarte ,

We represent Stiltsoft and the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app that suits your requirements.

We support native tables and macro generated tables (Jira Issues, Page Properties Report, etc.), as well as working with Excel-like spreadsheets. Here is a full list of the macros that we provide, please take a look.

The only point that is worth mentioning - the Runs on Atlassian badge. Currently we are migrating the app to Forge. As soon as the process is complete (we estimate it as in December), we'll get the badge. https://docs.stiltsoft.com/tfac/cloud/faq-security-71860350.html#FAQSecurity-DoestheapprunonForge?

As for now, you may visit the https://trust.stiltsoft.com portal where you can access important security and compliance documents, including the SOC 2 Type I and SOC 2 Type II reports, penetration tests, the latest updates from our bug bounty program, etc.
