What is the supported / recommended method to hide or disable the "Forgot your password?" link on the Confluence login page as our Server instance is LDAP integrated to Active Directory. This is confusing to end users
On the Confluence Login page, a user selects the Link for "Forgot your password" and attempts to change or update their password but this does not work as expected.
This error occurs when Confluence is configured to use an external LDAP user repository such as Active Directory, but the Security Configuration has not been updated correctly
The Confluence configuration can be modified to NOT display the Link on the login page
Navigate to Administration >> General Configuration >> Security Configuration >>
On the Edit Security Configuration page select the Edit button, then select the check-box for External user management. Save your change.
The Link will no longer be displayed on the Login page.
Look at this post, maybe can help you
Cheers
