Hi, I am new to confluence and I would like to create a drop down menu for "lessons learnt" discussions. One option which I came across was "Expand macro". I have created this but now I do not see an option how I can link a parent confluence page this and also how I can create sub bullet discussion links under this drop down.

Hello,

As mentioned by @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, there's no anchors on those macros. However, there's a macro specifically called Anchor that would be of help.

Instead of pointing to the Expand macro, you could add an Anchor macro just before the Expand macro and then you would point on that Anchor instead!

Here's more info on Anchors : Anchors

Cheers!

Macros are part of the content of a page, not pages or anchors.

I don't understand what you mean by "link page to macro".  Use the macro on a page to hide things in expandable boxes.
