Hi Carl,

The Activity Stream macro will only show things that the user has permission to view.  So if a user doesn't have view permissions to a page, change to that page won't be visible in the Activity Stream for that user.

You can also set filters in the Activity Stream macro to only show specific page changes.  In the configuration section of the macro, click (add filter) next to the Confluence option.  You can use the filter options that appear to configure what types of activity are shown, e.g. only show if a page is added, and/or a page is edited, and/or a comment is posted, and so on.
