Hello,
When will it be possible to use a Confluence macro to display a Google Drawing on a Confluence page?
I found this bug, but it's related to JIRA (not Confluence): https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AOD-4390.
Thanks,
Curtis
The integration with Google Apps is currently broken, as described on the Widget Connector macro documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Widget+Connector+Macro#WidgetConnectorMacro-GoogleDocs
After an Google Apps update. This bug is tracking it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-24927
Hi Felipe et al,
Do you know of any work-around for this? By that I mean, do you know of any other way to insert a Google Doc into a Confluence page and have it automatically updated when the Google Doc changes?
Thanks,
Curtis

Hi, Curtis
Not really, since, to update the document, Confluence needs to login to the Google account, and this is the main issue here.

Thanks for your quick reply Felipe.
It looks like CONF-24927 was opened back on March 14, 2012. I'm surprised it has been over a year since the issue was first reported. This is a key part of Confluence functionality to be broken for more than 1 year. It's also not assigned to anyone, does not have a Fix Version indicated, and marked as Minor. Any idea how we can get more traction on this? Or, if Atlassian has a plan to fix this in a different way by rolling-out a new product?
