Where did it go - the positioning of edit to where you already were on the page

A little while ago, we got this feature - quite nicely positioning edit to where you were on the reading page (give or take a small amount)

It was fantastic.

Now it's disappeared - we're editing at the top again.

When are you coming back lovely feature?
