We have Confluence installed on a Windows server as a service. The service was initially installed with an account that has a password expiration. We have since applied a service account to the confluence service so that the service does not stop when my password expires. We have noticed that the Synchrony service stops every time my password expires. We need to apply the service account to the Syncrhony service, but we cannot find the service under the Windows Services.
Hi Wesley,
Once you start Confluence, synchrony service process will be automatically spawned by Confluence process.
At the moment, only DC Linux version can configure the separate Synchrony service process as per CONFSERVER-51846.
I would recommend, that you create a local user that will never expire.
Cheers!
