×With the Confluence 7.2 release, I don't see that there is a docker image for AdoptJDK and Ubuntu as with previous versions.
7.1 has a tag of 7.1-ubuntu-18.04-adoptopenjdk8 here
but for 7.2 there is only
7.2-ubuntu and 7.2-jdk11 which appear to be the same based on the digest.
With the Java 11 support, are these now drop in replacements for the previous 7.1 tag or has the tag just not been released yet?
Thank you. I updated my question to Confluence which was correct. The default AdoptOpenJDK clarification does answer my question. I will update our compose file to the confluence-server:7.2.0-ubuntu release going forward
Thanks!
You're welcome, Kevin! Happy to hear that it helped.

Shannon

Kevin,
Thank you for contacting us about this.
Could you clarify what the issue is for me, so I can give you the right information? You mentioned Jira in your question, but the category is Confluence Server, so I want to make sure I'm answering you properly.
You want to use a specific Docker image for Confluence 7.2 that includes AdoptJDK11 and Ubuntu. From what you discovered, Jira doesn't have an image for either AdoptJDK nor Ubuntu. Confluence 7.1 had it, but you're not able to find it for 7.2. Since Jira doesn't have it, you believe it might not be available for Confluence. Is that right?
For Docker, we recently changed our syntax for versioning. AdoptOpenJDK is now bundled by default in the Docker container. You can see the JAVA_HOME being set to openjdk on the image and on the Confluence Server installers. You can use the following images:
Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Regards,
Shannon
