Hi,

One of the our original requirement was the reporting users' activities. We have been told/promised that Confluence can do it out of the box. When I started my curent position first thing my manager ask me to provide a report. Then I realised that nothing available out of the box as far as I can see.

Am I correct?

So, I dug a bit deeper especially matketplace for plugins and I installed CustomWare Tracking plugin and I am still playing with it.

Is it a good plugin? Is there other plugins that I can use? Is there a log or user activity tracker table in the database etc that I can run some reports using MySQL queries?

Any help, advise, hints&tips will be highly appreciated.

Cheers,

Selcuk

I don't know if it reach what you're wanting, but you can Enable User Access Logging to generate a basic log indicating which users are accessing which pages in Confluence. Please, refer to the following KB:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+Enable+User+Access+Logging

Sorry if it isn't a concrete solution.

Kind Regards

Hi Giuliano,

Thanks for the advice. Currently I don't have access to the server.

That's why I am after plugins and macros that I can use through admin section.

Let me keep the question open for a while. If there won't be any other (satisfactory) answer I will accept your answers.

Cheers,

Selcuk

The CustomWare one is also for anonymous space level tracking. Take a look at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.appfusions.confluence.plugins.engagement and

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/me.davidsimpson.confluence.plugins.googleanalytics in this case.

There isn't anything like this out of the box.

Hi Harry et all,

I have been browsing for a user tracking/engamgement/statistic plugin for Confluence.

So far I intalled/investigated and have been using

They are good plugins but non of them suit our needs.

Is there any other pluging that I missed?

Is there a user log file that I can run some reports to get those information?

Cheers,

Selcuk
