We have installed the Glossary plugin and mostly it seems to be working really well except that we don't see the glossary icon in the info banner. We can find it under the page tools menu, but not on the info banner.
Hi Simon,
The glossary button where you can check term existence in the page was developed as an extension of Confluence info banner, which is only available for Global Look and Feel theme. In order to guarantee this feature for any theme structure, it was added under a «tools» menu within the page (then press Glossary).
Atlassian plan to merge the functionality of the Confluence Documentation theme with the Confluence default theme. So, for this reason we decided to work with Confluence info banner. For more details you can read this post : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/2012/12/17/Advance+warning+of+plans+to+merge+Documentation+theme+with+the+default+theme

It does not show up for us either. This is somewhat a requirement if we are going to pay for this. Functionality of finding Glossary terms on a page is important to us.

I agree, there is little value in the glossary if there is not an easy way to link to the glossary items.....

Hello Simon, there is a chance that the add on functionality does not enclose the info banner - in local tests it did not show up for me either. You may be able to have more certainty on the matter by talking directly to the add on team, for such I have added the respective label to this post.
