Why does my "recently worked on" page say that I have not worked on anything

The "Recently worked on" page in confluence cloud (on my dashboard) doesn't show any of the pages I've recently worked on... It just displays the default message "You haven't created or edited anything yet..." and provides me with a "Create Page" button.

Other users can see what they've recently worked on, why can't I?
