Why does the conflunce source editor just show the first 21 lines in the editor window?

We have been using the source editor for a long time and are very satisfied with it. However sinc a short time the editor window no longer displays the entire source code, but only the first 21 lines. The rest of the code is "invisible". Does anyone know this effect?

Incidentally, the problem seems to be browser-independent: it occurs both in Firefox, as well as Chrome and Edge on (everything and WINDOWS 10 and the latest version of the browser). We use Source Editor version 2.0.0 on CONFLUENCE Server 6.15.2 which is running on CentOS.

Please confirm if you have Adaptavist Script Runner for Confluence installed by any chance as this has shown to interfere with source editor as discussed in this question

There is also a workaround in that question that might help.
