Why is the page fold halfway up the page?

Brian Jones July 24, 2018

Some of the default sample content or page templates provided with confluence display the page fold halfway up the browser window forcing what is unnecessary scrolling and a very unattractive layout.

page_fold.pngThis is a deal breaker for any plans to use this as an enterprise solution for wiki or team collaboration.

For those that were not aware this was resolved with a bug fix patch release.

I'd love to know what's going on with this as well. I have new pages, old pages, seemingly randomly going into "fallback" mode and/or putting a height of 500px on the page content iframe.

At first I thought it was related to the Style macro, but it appears on pages with no macros as well.
