Why isn't a page publishing?

When I click the "publish" button on my Confluence page, I just get a spinner forever with a comment "We're still saving your page."

What do I do?

I can access the draft of the page, and I've tried creating other pages (just blank with a title) and have been able to publish them.

The page I'm publishing does have

 * A header image

 * A custom emoji

 * Images with captions

 * Enumerated list of steps to follow

Solved.

I closed my web browser tab that had the open draft that was in the "waiting to publish" state.

I then opened a new browser tab and navigated to my page drafts.

I opened the draft, and clicked Publish button

It worked!
