Why macro 'recently-updated' doesn't work?

Error rendering macro 'recently-updated': com.atlassian.confluence.search.v2.InvalidSearchException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Hystrix circuit short-circuited and is OPEN
Who repairs that, urgently?
PS: I will never understand why showing  simple search results is not an essential functionality of Confluence, and why instead a macro is needed. But that's another question I already fear to have an answer for.

It is part of the ongoing incident with the search functionality in Confluence Cloud: https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/incidents/2kwrqf78w3lv

Thanks for that hint. Instead of frequent usage tips by Atlassian I wished to get those incidents immediately signalized. Not by a message, but by a small red flag in the interface, with a link to those background information.

And, to be honest, before we speak about "functionality" in context of the Atlassian "search", this should have reached at least the not even high quality level of Lucene.

Just to let you know, the macro works again. After a couple of page refreshes, and about ten minutes, the error message is gone. Not really satisfying.

Some minutes later: is not working anymore. Now same for the macro 'blog-posts'. Seems not to be macro-immanent, but a gift by Atlassian.
