The following (anonymized) link doesn't work:
http://fpt.companyname.se/main/#location=backlog_item_list&filterString=&PDUs[]=Department
When clicking on the link nothing happens. Also no link is seen when doing mouse over.
My guess is that it is the # in the link that complicates things. As # is a delimiter character in this wiki. In other wikis I have worked with there have been sign to use to tell the wiki to not interpret the character as anything else than the character. For example the ~ sign. I have tried the ~ sign and search the documentation for any similar thing but haven’t found any.
Could anyone give me a hint of what to do?
Hello there,
I was able to reproduce the same problem that you have stated. I believe that this is a bug, thus why I took the liberty to raise a bug as you can see below:

I would strongly suggest that you vote on this issue to increase its popularity and add it to your watchlist for future updates.

Hi There
Looking at the link that you've provided above it may be that the URL is actually invalid. As you're probably aware the #, = and & characters have special meaning within a url. The # character represents a link to a fragement of a document and the =, & characters are used to indicate and seperate name value pairs within a URL.
The URL you've posted I would interpret as being a link to a page (http://fpt.companyname.se/main/) that contains a link with a name of "#location=backlog_item_list&filterString=&PDUs[]=Department" which seems strange. It might make more sense if the # was replaced by a ? as you'd then be accessing http://fpt.companyname.se/main/and supplying the following name/value pairs:
location=backlog_item_list
filterString=''
PDUs[]=Department
This may help with this issue. If you want to know more about urls in general then the following may be of interest:

I hope this helps.

I have copied the link from my browser. There is a # in it and it works fine if a paste it in another window.
I will not argue about if it is a "valid" link or not. But I would be happy if you can provide a workaround.

Are those square brackets in the URL? I think Confluence chokes on those.
I tested adding incremental bits of that url to a link. I only failed ot be able to click the link after I added those.
Having #location in a URL can be perfectly valid depending on the type of app.
