Is wikimarkup such as the above supposed to render in confluence? Because it isn't rendering for me. Do I need to wrap it in any escape codes at all?
Hi David,
The Confluence Editor should convert your wiki markup as you type. Try removing the "{table-plus...}" indicators around your table. A table should be as simple as identifying your header fields using " || || " and your regular fields using " | | ".
This documentation should show you how the new confluence editor auto converts wiki markup as you type.

If you would like to write wiki markup without having it convert as you type try using the "Insert Wiki Markup" Macro.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Alex
I think you are asking this because it is an example provided in documentation. As others have noted, use Insert Wiki Markup in the editor before pasting in the example text. Examples are much easier to put on documentation pages via wiki markup than trying to give instructions on using editor to add a macro, set parameters, and copy in body text.

Hi David,
I have noticed that if the formatting is set "Preformatted" when you type in your wiki markup it doesn't render. Make sure you have formatted the row where you want your macro to anything but Preformatted. (I usually use format Paragraph)
Maybe this will help you?

Hi David, that would render if you have the plugins installed. And the plugin that you would be interested in is the following plugin.

Hope it helps!
