can you delete several attachments at the same time?

hello dear community,

as my company is moving Confluence to the cloud soon, we are in the process of going through individual attachments of the many Confluence pages and deleting outdated things. Since many pages have hundreds of attachments copied from  Confluence pages, I am looking for a way to delete multiple attachments at once. So far I can only view the attachments and delete each one individually. Is there a faster way?

Unfortunately, there is no option via the front end to delete multiple attachments.

This is an open feature request for Confluence Data Center. You can vote for this issue here:

There are two options to delete multiple attachments, which I am aware of:

1) Using an add-on like Scriptrunner: https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4c/latest/features/built-in-scripts/space-administration-built-in-scripts/bulk-delete-attachments

2) A second way to delete multiple attachments would be via database commands, but you should be very careful with this option. Maybe your Admin or Hosting-Provider can help.
