We set up confluence server with apache as reverse proxy and trusted wildcard-certificates. We use port 443.
Safari connects just fine and suggests to use the confluence app which shows the error: "Can't connect to your site". Clients: iOS 11.4.1
Are there additional ports to open? Any suggestions?
Seems to be the fault of a plugin, which is meanwhile fixed by vendor.
Thanks a lot!
Jürgen
Hi Jürgen!
Since you are able to connect via browser, this rules out many of the common causes listed in the knowledge base article for this issue: 'Can't connect to your site' error in the Confluence Server mobile app.
However, the one thing I recommend trying is to try entering the address without http:// or https:// (the app will try both and add them for you). This has been known to fix this issue in the past.
If this doesn't work, could you let us know what error message is showing below "Can't connect to your site"?
Thanks!
Zak

Hi Zak,
sorry for the huge delay!
The address without http:// and https:// does not connect either.
The error message is "This could be because the URL is wrong, you need to use a VPN, or Confluence is not available."
If i try to connect to ip directly , it says "Can't get a secure connection Either there's a problem with your site's certificate, or you need to install the certificate on your device."
Which is expected as our certificate does not cover the ip-address. Nevertheless a connection seems possible and safari shows our login page.
Have a nice weekend!
Jürgen

Is there any solution to this problem??

Hi, as mentioned in the entry from Aug, 15th 2018, the problem was in a faulty version of a plugin at that time.
