Hi
I've added the livesearch
macro to the global confluence sidebar configuration (Confluence Administration / General Configuration / Sidebar, Header & Footer), adding this content to the sidebar:
{livesearch:spaceKey=@self}
The search works very well, adding space search to all confluence spaces, however, one anomaly raised is that the livesearch
macro receives page focus (it has a blinking cursor ready for text entry), and as such page short cut keys, such as pressing "E" for edit, simply adds E into the livesearch
box rather than the desired behaviour which would be to open the page for editing.
Does anyone know if there are any techniques to shift page focus away from the livesearch
macro when the page first renders?!
Many thanks!
Hi Gavin,
There is a ticket in Atlassian Jira. You can vote for it. There is a description in the ticket, but in short the first text input within a <form> receives focus after page load.
Many thanks Andrey - I'll vote as suggested.
