How do I configure TLS authentication for confluence mail? JIRA has a button to click to use TLS authentication with outlook365 and port 587 and mail from JIRA works fine. We've been using confluence for awhile now but unfortunately we can't get any email from confluence (which seriously hinders our colaberation). I don't want to use the JNDI, gmail or other workarounds that I've found via google searches and I haven't found the answer in Atlassian documentation yet etiher. I need to use SMTP protocol with our office365 port587 using TLS security, just as JIRA does.
Appreciate the help.
Alicia
I found the answer!

Basically you bring down confluence, modify the server.xml file to include office365 info, then bring up confluence and point the gui mail configuration to use JNDI: java:comp/env/mail/office365
It works now.
