confluence upgrade

Hi Team,

We received an email about the new version of confluence.

Are we entitle to upgrade our existing version to the latest version.

If yes, could you provide us the steps for the upgrade?

Yes - if you are running Confluence for an enterprise , ensure that you have active license.

Download the file and just run it - pretty simple, follow steps as it prompts.

Backups are a part of upgrade - just select yes when it asks .

Ensure all your plugins are compatible with the new version.

i have downloaded the ZIP archive.

what i need to do is just run the installer on below path ?

atlassian-confluence-6.7.2\atlassian-confluence-6.7.2\bin\tomcat8.exe??

Nah , just place it here \atlassian-confluence-6.7.2\atlassian-confluence-6.7\ and run the installer.

You can if your licence ends after the release date of the version you want to go to.
