I have a create a flowchart using gliffy image. I want to add links at each step which should lead to a different section in the page. I have tried it earlier on a dummy page and it worked with heading as well as anchor link.
It works when I am edit mode and I click on go to link button.
In my final page, same is not working. I have tried multiple ways, but still no use.
I am a Solution Engineer here at Gliffy, and it looks like @Valerie Knapp already has given you some great pointer between identifying the how-to article of what you are trying to accomplish as well as suggesting that you open a case with our wonderful tech support team.
Have you already emailed us at support@gliffy.com? If so, you might have gotten a response since they are pretty quick, but please let me know if you have not heard anything by EOD 7/3/25, and I would be happy to check into the case for you.
The links you provided are not accessible to me to help troubleshoot, but I could also work with you to see you replicate your steps in real-time because there could be something up with the headings on your final page for example that is causing the link to break versus work like on your dummy page.
Happy to help where I can and thank you for being a Gliffy customer!
Hi Justin, thanks so much for reverting.
All the links are dummy and indicative of the issue as actual links cannot be shared.
At the moment I cannot show the issue in real time. However, as you mentioned "something up with the headings on your final page for example that is causing the link to break versus work like on your dummy page." is most likely the case.
Is there any troubleshooting steps to confirm on this ?
Also if that the issue, what is the resolution for it?

Hi @SONIA MAWANDIA , as @Justine MacLean - Gliffy Solutions , the best thing is for you to email Gliffy and open a ticket so they can help you resolve this issue.

I would definitely suggest emailing our support team (support@gliffy.com) if you have not done so yet. The troubleshooting steps would be to check the headers on the page and reselect the headings you want to use.
However, without seeing the actual issue it could be anything, and our tech team could pinpoint it more easily if you are able to send them a screen recording or at least screenshots.
Thank you!

Thanks both @Justine MacLean - Gliffy Solutions @Valerie Knapp . I found a work around ...originally page name was starting with some numeric values like "1.2.3pagename", when the numeric values was removed, its working.
Hence repro steps is to use numeric values as first characters in page name. then issue can be reproduced.

Hi @SONIA MAWANDIA , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
Is this what you are trying to do? https://help.gliffy.com/confluence/Content/GliffyCommon/Linking-shapes.htm?Highlight=page%20links
Generally, for this kind of query / topic, I always recommend to check the product documentation, as the vendors the experts in how to achieve this kind of thing - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/254/gliffy-diagrams-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=support .
Please share your feedback if this helped you or not.
Best wishes

Hi @SONIA MAWANDIA , thanks for your feedback. Also here, Gliffy being a paid app, I would open a ticket to the vendor to ask for help.
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/254/gliffy-diagrams-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=support
Especially, like you say, if it works on some pages and not others, the vendor is really best placed to help / advise.
Best wishes

Thanks so much. Will I get to know when they respond?

Just to add more to the issue, I used "search for and insert a link to a link to a Confluence page within the GliffyInsert Link window"
Working page on click of link it the url is like https://confluence.xxxx.com/display/MDP/pagename#id-pagename-anchor(or heading)
Non working page on click of link the url is like https://confluence.xxxx.com/display/MDP/pagename#pagename-pagename-anchor(or heading)
The difference is in non working page, the url has page name 2 times after # symbol while in working page url has "id-pagename" after hash.
The process followed in both the cases is exactly same
