having issues apply key after renewing our support for another year

when i try to copy and past the new key into the window to update or Licensee Key, it tell me it must be a key. i was not the person that originally set this up, so i know very little about Confluence.

To know your license key, you'll need to login to my.atlassian.com as the technical contact. Only technical contacts have access to the key(s) and any others that are authorized by them. The persons who are authorized are also seen after you login.
