This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Office Excel Macro

How can I use one excel sheet across multiple child pages. The excel sheet needs to be editable on all of the pages with it automatically updating the pivot table that is referenced in a summary page.

Hi Vida,  the Office Excel macro expects the file to be attached to the current page, but you may be able to use the Include Page macro to get around this:

  1. Create a page that has the Excel file attached, and use the Office Excel macro to display it on the page.
  2. On each page that you want to make the excel file available, add the Include Page macro and include your new Excel file page.

I haven't tested whether you can still edit the file from the page, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

If you don't want your new page to show in the page tree, you can drag it to the root of the space, so that it isn't a child of the homepage.
