If you don't want to use UPM to check the compatibility with a specific Marketplace app and Confluence, you can look at the listing directly on Marketplace. It will show you the compatible versions at the top of the listing.
For example:
The downside is this can't check all your apps at once, you still need UPM for that. Is there a reason you don't want to use UPM?
