I am having troubles deleting a user account (former employee) as this user has edited some pages. Despite editing those pages, the system still tells me I can't because she has edited pages within our spaces. Is there a way to globally "scrub" this? Must I delete a user to free up a license for a new employee?
Hello Mary,
Unfortunately if a User has created or modified content, they cannot be deleted. Instead, you would need to de-activate the user to free up their license:
To deactivate a user:
Go to
> User management
- On the Users screen, select the user you want to deactivate to open the user details
- On the user details screens, select Deactivate
-shawn
Mary, Shawn is correct.
